After a winter in California, we were very excited to begin our next adventure on Grand Fromage. We had kept Grand Fromage in New Bern, NC for the winter. John Peterson did a great job of looking after the boat. When we arrived in New Bern on May 15th, John had the boat ready to go!!! Thank you, John!!!
John and Vivian were able to travel with us from New Bern to Norfolk, VA. They are terrific travel companions and more than pull their weight. Here is John helping Robert leave the dock in New Bern. We wear the ear phones so we don’t have to yell when docking the boat.
Vivian is ready to bring in the fenders and the ropes.
Can you tell that Captain Robert is happy to be under way?
Laughing gulls following in our wake
i love the gulls behind the boat. i want to see dolphins next time!!
xo
Dolphins pop up and move so fast you can’t get a picture of them…this is sad but true for at least bumbling, nonprofessional camera totting duffers like your mom. I’ve tried and succeed in lots of pictures of water.
When I get bored I enjoy surfing the web to see what friends I’ve lost touch with.have been up to. . .how is THAT for bad grzmmar? i was doing good until your blog left me stranded in the Andes in 2018 or so. .
We’re in La Jolla now, in a real nice CCRC near one of our daughters in San Diego, and loving it! we’d.sure love to see you guys if you ever get near SoCal.
Our landline is (858) 203-3399 and me cell is still (360) 710-8796.
Hugs to you both!
Doc
Hi Doc!!!! So glad you visited our blog. Sorry I have neglected it for so long, but we have plans to make the blog and active part of our life again. As a matter of fact, I’m working on the next part of our Peru adventure as we “speak”. I’ll email you when it’s ready!!!
